Bayside Elite – Adaptive Cheer Program Intern
Summer 2025 | Millersville, MD
As an intern with Bayside Elite, I contributed to the development of an inclusive cheer and gymnastics program for athletes with physical and developmental disabilities. This experience allowed me to apply my interdisciplinary background in public health, psychology, and sports coaching to a real-world setting. My role involved shadowing program planning meetings, assisting in the creation of adaptive lesson plans, participating in social media efforts, and helping design flyers, program outlines and research. I also engaged in safety training and completed certifications necessary to support and interact with athletes directly. This internship helped my understanding of inclusive programs, legal compliance, and promotion of community health.
Auburn University – Gymnastics Camp Coach
Summers 2024–2025 | Auburn, AL
As a coach for Auburn University summer Gymnastics Camps, I worked with youth athletes of all skill levels to teach gymnasts that are interested in gymnastics and I pursuing gymnastics in college. I worked with Auburn teammates to teach young athletes drills and new skills while making sure that had fun in the process.
